"Security & Data Loss Survey Results - what it means to you"
| Topics: |
Ernst & Young's 2009 Global Information Security Survey (GISS) - The key themes
The Ernst &
Young GISS, now in its 12th year, it is one of the longest running and
most respected surveys of its kind, providing organisations an
opportunity to compare themselves with others on important information
security issues and gain insights for making key decisions. These
results of the 2009 survey will be hot off the presses. In 2008
nearly 1,400 organisations in more than 50 countries and across all
major industries participated in the survey.
KPMG’s Data Loss Barometer 2009
The KPMG "Data
Loss Barometer 2009" looks at how data can go missing, and consider
what organisations can do to keep information secure – or
minimise the harm should the worst happen. The publication
unveils the latest KPMG worldwide research into reported data loss
incidents, at a time when the credit crunch is causing a rise in
intellectual property theft.
