Ernst & Young's 2010 Global Information Security Survey (GISS)                                

Guest Speaker: Seamus Reilly, Ernst & Young

The Ernst & Young' GISS, now in its 13th year, is one of the longest running and most respected surveys of its kind, providing organisations an opportunity to compare themselves with others on important information security issues and gain insghts for making key decisions.  The 2010 survey attracted responses from nearly 1,600 organisations in 56 countries and across all major industries.

Seamus is a Director in Ernst & Young's London IT Risk and Assurance (ITRA) practice, specialising in information security.  He leads Ernst & Young’s UK non financial services Information Security practice. He joined Ernst & Young in 1997, having previously worked for British Telecom as a senior Information Security advisor and as a project manager. Seamus has over nineteen years information security, privacy,  IT controls, programme management and auditing experience.  He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), BS27001 Lead Auditor and has also previously been a CESG Listed Advisor Scheme (CLAS) Consultant.
